Restoration of the facades and roofs and highlighted
Designed and built between 1844 and 1856 by the architect Jacques Lacornée, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building forms a homogeneous ensemble that is representative of the decorative arts of the mid-19th century.
The condition of the monument was worrysome: aging zinc roofing at the end of maintenance life, damaged stones on the facades menacing people safety.
It was therefore necessary to undertake restoration works on the roofs and facades, and to define a lighting strategy to illuminate the building.
